Working Groups Poised to Reactivate After Summer Hiatus

The dedicated members of the Roundtable’s working groups have been enjoying a couple meeting-free months this summer, but that’s all due to end come August. Now is a good time for members to think about where they’d like to dedicate some time and talent, and keep in mind that one may conference call-in to the meetings.

Economic Development Working Group, chaired by Mark Foley, Foley Services
Meets last Friday of the month (3-430p) in various locations around the state.
Current focus on: investments in human capital (workforce); communities; and, affordability.

Education Working Group, chaired by Leslee MacKenzie, Coldwell Banker Hickok and Boardman Realty
Meets 4th Tuesday of the month (3-430p) at CBHB.
Current focus on: support for Early Care and Learning investments in teacher quality and affordability; monitoring and ongoing support for Act 46 implementation; investments in higher education to benefit access and affordability.

Health Care Working Group, chaired by Mike Walsh, NFP
Meets 3rd Tuesday of the Month (3-430p) at the Roundtable
Current focus on: 2016 health care membership survey; monitoring of ongoing reform developments.
