Pulse of Vermont

The Roundtable formed a strategic partnership with the Center for Social Science Research at Saint Michael’s
College in 1990 to document how Vermonters assessed the quality of their lives. Initiated as a single survey, the Pulse of Vermont project expanded to revisit Vermonters’ perspectives every five years since.

Interviews with more than 2,000 people have provided a unique opportunity to examine the impact that two decades of change have had on the lives of the average citizen of the state.

Those captured portraits have been deemed valuable by business and legislative leaders alike.
